The track is titled Imaginary Movie and features Jim on bass with added sonic textures, and Jillian supply haunting vocals.

We're playing in Seoul, Korea!
-
July 16, 2010
We're flying to Seoul, Korea the end of July for ten days. It's Jillians' first time back since she was adopted at age 4. We are attending the (IKAA) International Korean Adoptee Association Gathering. Over 400 adoptees will be coming from all over the world for this event. Jillian has been asked to sing the Korean National Anthem for the opening ceremonies- a very honorable appointment! We've also been asked to play on the last evening of the gathering at the formal dinner and dance. We'll be playing Jillian's songs including "Find Me" which she wrote about her longing to someday find her Korean parents.
Of course we'll be taking our new CD, "Movin' On" for our new friends and fans over seas. Seoul should be an experience of a lifetime!
Hey, our new songs are on this site so check them out!
Peace and love-
Spring- working on NEW CD!
-
June 8, 2010
We are writing a few new songs and are gearing up to record them and re-record some of our earlier songs for a new upcoming CD "Movin' On". This new CD will better reflect our band's signature sound and contain more material. We are also working on securing more performing opportunities in and around Seattle. We'll keep the Calendar updated. The band is doing well and look forward to seeing you out and about!

December 15, 2009
Thank you all for coming out to our show at Laughing Ladies last Saturday night. It was a cold night but we kept things warm at the cafe with Jillian's brilliant performance. We appreciate your enthusiasm and support.
The Jillian Graham Band wishes you and yours a very warm and loving holiday season. We hope to see you soon in the new year!
Jillian's Sedona Trip
-
December 12, 2009
I just returned from a month in Sedona Arizona. It was a retreat to relax and unwind, and see this beautiful country rich in history and good vibes. I had a wonderful time- although hard at first since I missed Jim and Emma. After the 2nd week, I found my red rock rhythm with the support and friendship of Ross and Beth Kingsley-Hawkins. They are fine people; artists and musicians who let me rent their beautiful apartment behind their home. They made sure I had all the comforts I needed and a lasting friendship was made. See more about Beth and Ross in Links.
I spent much of my time exploring Sedona and all the red cliffs. Some of the places I saw; Grand Canyon, Tuzigook, Jerome, and sites with ancient pertroglyphs and vortex. I even wrote a few songs while there. I took Korean yoga classes twice daily and met many Koreans. The weather was near perfect and it only rained twice while I was there. Fall in Sedona is lovely.
I am so grateful to Jim and Emma who let me go on this sojourn- I love them so much! I’m also thankful to my boss who allowed me to take a whole month off from work. I came home renewed and very relaxed with new friends and a lifetime of wonderful memories. Speaking of memories, I took over a thousand pictures and got very good at using the auto picture feature and running out in front of the lens before the shutter went off. I’ll have some of my pictures up on Picasa, shortly. I’ve put a few pictures on this website- look under Photo Gallery- you’ll also see some pictures Beth (a fantastic professional photographer) took of me. Jillian

Happy Halloween!
Update

September 22, 2009
While our drummer is hiking in Yellowstone National Park for a couple of weeks, we have been working working on our site (can't you tell?) and some promotional material for some upcoming performances. It's also given us a little down time to catch up on some movies we've been wanting to see and books we've wanted to read. Our day jobs are alive and well. Our music is getting better and better.
Mutt Strut
-
August 29, 2009
Fun at the park. The Everett Mutt Strut was a grand success. All varieties of dogs and their owners parading around the grounds with contests and walkies! It was packed. Fun gig and we want to thank our substitute drummer Bob Morgan for stepping in.
We were happy to provide the entertainment and much thanks to those who came up to buy our CD and say hi.
Amps!
-
August 21, 2009
Music is great but it can only happen if your gear works! Jillian's Fender Deluxe Reverb blew up at rehearsal last week--what a noise, woke the dead! So glad it blew at a rehearsal and not at a gig!! We're having it rebuilt, rewired and upgraded by custom amp builder Bill Rodrick of Chelmsford, MA. It will be bullet-proof then!
Summer!
-
August 4, 2009
Where does the time go? I know! Out the window on a rocket-sled!
We are in the process for booking shows for fall and even into the winter. Meanwhile we continue to rehearse, refine and improve our shows. We love seeing familiar faces in the audience and so appreciate the love and support we get. Thank you. We also warmly welcome new faces!
We also enjoy getting out and seeing other bands perform; some really great bands we have here! I'm sure A&R people have a tough time of it scouting for new talent--there is so much of it! Spoiled for choices!
Ok... back to rehearsal!

Gearing up for some more shows later this summer and in the fall so check the calendar for more information--love to see you there. Don't be shy, come up and say hi!
We've had several requests for songs we haven't recorded yet so we are trying to get those recorded to eventually put up on our sites.
Thank you again for all the love and support you've shown us. See you at the next performance!
Great show

Thank you all for coming out to see us at the Pinehurst festival. It was a very sunny day with lots of other great acts; Brian Butler, Nancy Dillon, Brian Heaney and Eric Madis. Great stuff.
We are back in the practice studio working on getting our keyboard player, Rick up to speed for our next shows.
See you at the next gig.
Pinehurst Festival, Shoreline, WA

July 15, 2009
Couple of shows this weekend. The Pinehurst festival will be well attended and we are looking forward to sharing the stage with other very accomplished local artists. Bring a lawn chair or blanket and enjoy music under the sun! See you there!
This Friday night we will be doing our full show at C&P Coffee in West Seattle. A smaller, intimate venue so you can get better acquainted with the band, we love our fans!

Laughing Ladies gig
-
June 12, 2009
Thank you all for attending our little show at Laughing Ladies! Thank you for sharing your thoughs and feelings--they mean a lot to us. We are so glad our songs have meaning and joy for you. Thank you to those who purchased our CD!
(Ed note: Jillian is really good no matter how modest she appears to the outside world).
See you at the next gig!
June time
-
June 10, 2009
Great weather and a lot of great shows out there. We plan to be part of it with several shows coming up. Because we don't concern ourselves about writing "hit" or "pop" songs, we are able to write and perform with great freedom. We don't have the need to write "safely" or within the confines of the music industry expectations. What this means for our friends and fans is they get is true art without the bias of Nashville, NYC or LA. Our friends and fans get fresh, new music from real people such as themselves. Easier to relate.
Enjoy the sun and see you a the gig!

May 4, 2009
The news is we've decided to play music for a living. However, reality has other plans for us, so it's back to the day job. It was a great decision though.
We are rehearsing for our next set of shows and hope some of our friends can make it out.
Great being an indie! We can do what we want without record company pressures!
Spring
-
April 21, 2009
Have a few gigs lined up this spring. We're practicing and getting out as much as we can. Our gig at Damans's Tavern in Redmond, WA last weekend went over very well. Comfortable bar setting with a lot of other very talented acts too!
We're trying to decide if to add another guitarist or keep ourselves as a trio. We can make a lot of noise for just three people!
Hope to see you at one of our shows!
Victory CD party
-
March 28, 2009
The Victory Music CD release party was really wonderful. Lots of great talent. Backing Steff Kayser up went over very well. Fun night!
We are sending our CD to loads of local and distant radio stations. It's a great CD, and it's great being independent. Way cool.
Spring is on it's way

March 6, 2009
Been a while so I thought I'd write. Totally missed February! Life just sometimes gets in the way.
We have been in rehearsals writing new material. We are also working on getting more gigs for you to come see us to hear those new songs. We will be performing with our good friend Steff Kayser at Victory Music CD compilation release party, March 20th.
